Why car hauling
Hauling cars takes more skill than pulling a box. Every load is someone's vehicle, so it comes down to careful loading, tight securement and clean inspections at pickup and delivery. We're looking for drivers who take pride in that work and want to build a long career doing it.
Velocity Logistics is a licensed and insured motor carrier based in Indianapolis, with our own trucks and drivers and USDOT 4494211. We move cars for dealerships, auctions and private owners, and our trucks run Indiana and Illinois to and from Texas, Oklahoma, and South Carolina on a regular schedule.
Straight answers
Company drivers are paid 70 cents per mile. Expect $1,800 to $2,200 per week.
Yes. Our over the road company drivers are home on the weekends.
Owner operators run on a 70/30 split under our USDOT and MC. We provide dispatch, compliance, filings, IRP and insurance. You bring your own truck and trailer and cover fuel, tolls and maintenance.
