What sets your price

Distance and ZIP codes
Exact pickup and delivery addresses, not just the cities.

Your dates and the season

Copart pickups

Good to know before your Copart pickup.

  • Gate pass and lot number

Once you've paid Copart, send the gate pass and lot number with the yard's address. Dispatch sets the pickup window with the yard.

  • Beat the storage fees

Copart charges storage after a short free period. Book as soon as you've paid so pickup lands before fees start.

  • Salvage and non-running

Missing parts, no keys or it won't start? Tell us in the form and dispatch plans loading and unloading before the truck goes out.

Most Copart pickups ride with a Velocity driver. If our schedule can't cover a yard or a date, we'll offer a vetted partner carrier and tell you before pickup.

Request a Quote

Do you pick up from Copart?

Yes, every day. Send your gate pass, the lot number and the yard's address, and dispatch confirms a pickup window with the yard. Your car is photographed at loading and delivered door to door.

Do I need a tow truck to get my car out of Copart?

No. We pick it up on a car hauler, running or not, and deliver it to your door, whether that's across town or across the country. Tell us in the form if it doesn't run, roll or steer.

What do you need from me to pick up at an auction?

The yard's address, the gate pass or release, the lot or stock number and the VIN, plus the year, make and model and whether it runs. Dispatch takes it from there and confirms the pickup window with the yard.

How soon should I book after I win?

As soon as you've paid. Auctions start charging storage after a short free period, and the length depends on the auction and the yard. Booking right away gives dispatch the best chance to pick up before fees start.

Can you haul a salvage or non-running vehicle?

Yes. Tell us in the form if it doesn't run, roll or steer, or has no keys. Dispatch plans loading at the yard and unloading at your door before the truck goes out, and our equipment includes hydraulic liftgate trailers. A non-running vehicle costs more to load than one that drives on.

What about the title?

The title is between you and the auction. If the yard hands the driver any paperwork with the vehicle, it comes to you at delivery with the car.

Will you document the vehicle's condition at pickup?

Yes. The driver photographs the vehicle at the yard before loading and again at delivery, and you get a digital bill of lading. Auction cars often have damage already, so the pickup photos protect you.

Are you part of Copart, IAA or Manheim?

No. Velocity Logistics is an independent, licensed and insured motor carrier based in Indianapolis. Buyers hire us to pick up at the auction and deliver to their door.

How do I get a quote, and how fast will I hear back?

Fill out the quote form with your vehicle details, pickup and delivery ZIP codes, and timeline, or call us. We email you a clear, all-in quote, typically within minutes during business hours. To book, you add the remaining details, read and sign your agreement, and pay your deposit by credit card or ACH through our online portal.

Is my vehicle insured during transport?

Yes. Velocity Logistics is a fully insured, licensed motor carrier (USDOT 4494211, MC 1777008), and every partner carrier we use is vetted for active authority and cargo insurance. Every move includes an inspection with photos at pickup and delivery and a digital bill of lading, so the vehicle's condition is documented end to end.
